Refund Policy


Our customer refund and service credit policy (“Refund Policy”) for products and services is as follows:

No refunds, service credits or returns will be issued for reports ordered and delivered on the website where a credit decisioning score has been provided and/or the information contained in the business file has been verified.

This Refund Policy applies to orders placed on-line or by phone and paid using any payment method including, but not limited to, credit card, eCheck or by invoice. Details of this Refund Policy are as follows:

** Number of days following the date of service fulfillment or renewal date, as applicable, during which you may cancel your order in accordance with this Refund Policy. For products and services subject to auto-renewal, you may also cancel your renewal prior to the renewal date.

  1. For all DNBi SelfMonitor Annual and Monthly Services and for the Trade References Add-On, there is also a 365 day period (from the date of purchase or the date of renewal, as applicable) in which you can add your company’s Trade References to your company’s credit file and determine its acceptability by DNB.
  2. For a monthly subscription of the Concierge Service, there is a 12 month minimum commitment from the purchase date of this service. You may cancel the Concierge Service during the first 30 days following its purchase.  However, if you attempt to cancel this product after the first 30 days and prior to fulfilling the 12 month minimum commitment, you will be charged for the entire 12 month minimum commitment for this product.   Should you continue this product without cancellation) after the 12 month minimum commitment, the product will be provided on a month-to-month basis, and you may cancel upon 30 days’ notice, without renewing for another 12 month period. For all Concierge Services, there is a 365 day period (from the date of purchase or the date of renewal, as applicable) in which you can add your company’s Trade References to your company’s credit file and determine its acceptability by DNB.
  3. For a DUNS File Creator or DUNSFile a unique DUNS number and business credit file will be created on behalf of your company. For DNBi Self Monitor, if D&B Credibility has not previously done so, D&B Credibility shall collect your supplied credit references (“Trade References”) and submit these Trade References to Dun & Bradstreet, Inc. (“DNB”) who will call these references on behalf of your company and determine its acceptability. In addition, should you pay for an upgrade to ScoreBuilderBase, ScoreBuilder Plus, ScoreBuilder Premium, CreditBuilder Base, CreditBuilder Plus, or CreditBuilder Premium, and if D&B Credibility has not previously done so, D&B Credibility shall collect your supplied Trade References and submit these Trade References to DNB who will call these references on behalf of your company and determine its acceptability. Because of DNB and D&B Credibility's reliance on the cooperation from creditors and references, neither DNB nor D&B Credibility can guarantee the completeness of the information in your credit file. Due to the extensive amount of work required to complete such a file, cancellations and refunds will not be accepted. If, however, the requested product or service was not provided to you in a reasonable timeframe, cancel/refund requests may be requested and will be reviewed on a case by case basis; however, D&B Credibility makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the outcome of such review.

The unused portion from prior purchased products or services cannot be applied as a credit towards other D&B Credibility products or services.  

For all  purchases without a set-up fee, you are entitled to a full refund if you request such refund within 2 days of ordering the product or service. No refund shall be provided if the refund request is made after such 2 days.  For all purchases with a set-up fee, you are entitled to a full refund (including the associated set up fee) if you request a refund within 3 days of ordering the product or service. No refund shall be provided if the refund request is made after such 3 days. For orders involving products or services that auto-renew which are cancelled after the applicable cancellation threshold (and thus ineligible for a refund for the current term), the do-not-renew process for such products or services will take effect on the next renewal date for such product or service.

Should you purchase a product or service via a product bundle (“Bundle”) and request a refund for such Bundle, no refund shall be provided for the Bundle itself. Only the individual products or services that make up such Bundle may be eligible for a refund. Eligibility for the refund of such individual products or services is determined by the terms of this Refund Policy and by taking into account any discount that was applied to that individual product internally as part of the Bundle.

No cash refunds or service credits will be issued outside of this Refund Policy. The appearance of a credit card refund on your credit card account used to make a D&B Credibility purchase may take 3-5 business days based on the service time of the bank that issued your credit card. Cancellation of D&B Credibility invoices can take 3-5 business days. Should you cancel a product or service, the license to use such product or service shall terminate on the last day of your current product or service.

D&B Credibility reserves the right to revise the Terms of Service or this Refund Policy at any time without providing notice to its users by posting the revised Terms of Service or Refund Policy on any  D&B Credibility website. Your continued use of the D&B Credibility products or services after any changes to the Terms of Service or this Refund Policy has been posted,  shall be deemed your irrevocable acceptance of those revisions.

The depth of information in a DNB credit decision report will vary based on the information collected directly from the report subject and third party sources, presence or absence of public filings, credit activity and age of business. DNB’s credit decisions may or may not contain financial statements, trade information, principal antecedents and/or public filings.  

The minimum level of information used for a DNB credit decision is defined as the delivery of one or more credit decisioning score(s) which provides the user a baseline of credit-oriented information to make a risk management decision. These scores are:
