Development Capital & Financing, LLC ("DC&F") was established in 2005 by Alok Mathur following a 30-year career with Asea Brown Boveri limited ("ABB"). The company was created with the singular mission of helping its customers and partners create a distinct competitive advantage in their businesses by:

Providing leading-edge financial advisory services to companies and governments

Helping project developers to raise capital for projects

Creating sophisticated financial models for energy and infrastructure projects

Training company executives and government decision-makers in the area of Project and Structured Finance

Mr. Mathur established and managed a Financial Services Company in India with three divisions (financial advisory, debt underwriting, and equity investments) and was appointed to a 5-member ABB Management Committee that oversaw its Indian operations with $1 billion in sales and 5,000 employees. In that role, he closed two of the first IPP's in India while playing a leading role in advising the Government of India on reforms for privatization. He has been recognized as among the top 100 managers in ABB worldwide (over 200,000 employees).

Mr. Mathur helped establish and grow ABB's project finance business to 140 professionals in 18 countries, closing $5 billion each year. In that role, he was responsible for training ABB's sales and technical personnel globally in Project & Structured Finance. Before that, he oversaw investments in over 20 of the early IPP projects in the US and was a member of the Management Committee responsible for approving ABB's equity investments in projects worldwide.
