GraSen Technology is a fabless semiconductor manufacturing company specializing in Heterojunction Bipolar Transistor (HBT) and Heterostructure Field-Effect Transistor (HFET) devices and packaged gain block amplifiers.
GraSen Technology maintains 3 qualified semiconductor foundries, on-shore and off-shore, to ensure a manufacturing capability that can meet any small-to-large volume commercial or military requirement while maintaining a low overhead structure.
GraSen Technology's HBT and HFET products are available off-the-shelf (OTS) to 8 weeks (for unpackaged chip components), OTS to 14 weeks (for packaged amplifiers). Our surface-mount packaged products are lead-free and RoHS-compliant.
Our design services branch, GraSen Engineering, provides contract design and transfer services for customers needing Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) RF power amplifier or high-speed logic circuits, RF amplifier assembly, Multi-Chip Module (MCM), Monolithic Microwave Integrated Component (MMIC) or Microwave Integrated Circuit (MIC) capability for their own proprietary needs. Mechanical housing and packaging design services are also available.
Mr. Brad Senge is the President and CEO of GraSen Technology.
He has 33 years experience in RF, Microwave, Semiconductor, and Wireless electronics. He has held positions in RF component and system design, manufacturing, program management, and business development, ranging from RF Engineering Technician to Vice-President of Business Development.
Mr. Stan Gray is Chief Technical Officer and COO of GraSen Technology.
He has 30 years experience in RF, Microwave, Semiconductor, and Wireless electronics. He was the Product Development Manager and Chief RFIC Design Engineer, responsible for the entire Aeroflex/Metelics HBT and PHEMT amplifier product lines. His experience includes RF ASIC designing positions for S5 Wireless, ParkerVision, Inc., EiC Corporation, and Wireless Access, Inc. He has held positions in RF component and system design and manufacturing engineering. The balance of his career has includes stints as component design engineer for Stellex Microwave (passive and active mixers), Voyager Technologies, Inc. (spread-spectrum RF systems, VCO, DRO, and PLL), Mirage Systems (classified radar components), and Lockheed Martin Missiles and Space Company (LMSCO) (MIC and MMIC components, radio receiver subsystems and complex baseband test systems).
Stan is an Associate Member of the IEEE MTT-S and a recipient of the LMSCO Pursuit of Excellence for his project leadership on next-generation PHEMT MMIC designs.
Brad and Stan are Cogswell Polytechnical College alumni, where they earned B.S., Electronic Engineering Technology (50% Electrical Engineering, 50% Business Management) degrees.
