On the operations side, AEE focuses on all technical aspects of system management including maintenance, repair and performance control.

Venturing into the field of PV module production, AEE developed and built a 30-megawatt solar thin-film production factory in Germany. The factory was built in record time of only nine months, with a ramp up of just two months. The development, implementation and temporary operation of this factory (which was sold to a US-company for portfolio reasons) provides us with fundamental knowledge regarding our own ongoing research in and development into the next generation of thin film technology. It is this technical background that allows us to choose among a variety of suppliers the most suitable components for each photovoltaic project, and to consider specific local conditions in order to reach maximum efficiency.

Along with our four German offices located in Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Leipzig and Dresden, we additionally have international offices in London (UK), Bath (UK), Hamrun (Malta), Istanbul (Turkey) and Ann Arbor (Michigan, USA).
