Amco Elevators, established in 1965, is located in Downtown Indianapolis. Amco also has satellite offices throughout the state of Indiana, and into Illinois. No matter your location, or brand of elevator, Amco has the resources and capability to provide you a full spectrum of elevator solutions.

Amco’s mechanics and technicians are fully licensed and trained, to service, troubleshoot, and repair any brand or vintage of elevator. We believe strongly in the continuous development and training of our employees to ensure they can provide you the most current expertise in the industry. Amco’s mechanics and technicians are educated in a number of ways:

Amco has an ongoing, hands-on, in house training program that is led by our three CET-S’s (Certified Elevator Technician-Supervisor). We are involved in the CET program through the NAEC (National Association of Elevator Contractors). Along with our commitment to the CET program, we offer a tuition re-imbursement program at institutes of higher learning. We take great pride in the ability to solve the most complex elevator problems.
Amco also is proud to sell and install only Non-Proprietary equipment. This means that any equipment that is installed by Amco is serviceable by any other elevator company, allowing building owners to solicit competitive maintenance bids. Many companies now are installing only Proprietary equipment in an attempt to lock the building owner in to an exclusive service contract with the installer, which eliminates competitive prices that can keep them honest. Amco is confident that if the equipment is Non-Proprietary, and the only deciding factors in the service provider are a fair price, and quality of service, then these are the only advantages that we need.
Amco is independently and locally owned, which allows Amco flexibility the larger national companies do not have. We can adapt to meet our customer’s constantly changing needs, along with changes in the elevator trade. Amco is always searching for ways to better serve our current customers and ways to add more quality customers to our base.
