Geokinetics Inc. was formed in February of 1999 by a core group of engineers, hydrologists, and other professionals. The primary objective of GeoKinetics is to provide high quality geotechnical and environmental consulting services to a a growing list of public and private sector clients. We take pride in providing practical solutions to complex problems using innovative and state of the art techniques. Geokinetics consists of a team of elite professionals who collectively offer a unique blend of expertise, experience and innovation in all areas of geotechnical engineering, geology, environmental site assessment and remediation. Presently, GeoKinetics has a staff of eight engineers, geologists, scientists, technicians and support personnel at our Irvine Spectrum office location. The majority of this staff are degreed professionals with many years of practical, hands on experience. The majority of the principals have teaching and research experience at the university level. The skills of our staff and our unique array of laboratory equipment, field equipment and instrumentation systems- as well as a fully equipped machine shop- enable us to undertake relatively complex and multi-faceted projects. Our expertise is further supported by a software library, which includes state of the art computer programs capable of simulating complicated two and three dimensional slope stability, soil-structure interaction and groundwater flow problems under static and dynamic conditions. Our personnel are known for their broad scope of knowledge associated with the solution of complicated engineering problems. In addition, our personnel have a successful track record of completing projects usually reserved for larger consulting firms. We are confident in our skills and our capabilities, and are committed to providing all our clients with high quality, cost effective services. This is exemplified by the projects we have successfully completed and by the long term client relationship.
