Enterhost was formed in January of 2000. The dot-com boom had given way to a number of web hosting companies who were fortunate enough to be providing services in the late 1990's. At this time, Linux was undisputedly the mostly widely used web server on the Internet. Windows NT hosting was a component of many hosting providers' services, but none of them focused on delivering a serious Windows based solution.

Our founders recognized the tremendous growth opportunity for Windows in the web hosting market. They believed the timing was ideal for a Windows-only web host to emerge with the upcoming highly anticipated Windows 2000 Server release. However, they understood if we were going to specialize in Windows hosting we were going to have to be Windows hosting specialists. That meant building the industry's first Microsoft Certified Support Team. This designation assured our clients that our support engineers had demonstrated undeniable expertise with Microsoft products and platforms.

Today, our company still remains privately held and profitable. We manage thousands of clients from around the country and various parts of the world. We have experienced a tremendous amount of change since our humble beginnings. Our success has even given us the opportunity to build a world class data center for our clients. Through all of this, one thing remains the same. We have stayed dedicated to Windows hosting.
