Brightstar Youth Services is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides basic, intermediate and advanced educational support to Middle and High School students that lack the necessary math, reading and language skills for college entry. Using the most advanced educational tools and services we target students from Single Family Homes, High School Drop outs and households with parents that lack the education or ability to support their college bound students.
The aim of Brightstar Youth Services is to prepare children ages 13 to 21 quality educational and supplemental services that endeavor to prepare them for the entire college entry or secondary experience.

Services of Brightstar Youth Services will include: (1) preliminary student assessments on local standardized high stakes test and on national standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT.

Brightstar aims to fill any chasm that my have been created in a child's educational experience.

*We will work with the school system to assure that children's needs are being met and that they educational aspirations are being worked on.

Teen Mentoring Program:
The Teen Mentoring Program is design for teens that have dropped out of School, are pregnant or have kids, have been incarcerated or are on probation and Teen from single-family households. The program provides Mentoring, jobs skills development through educational courses such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Provides scholarships and financial assistance for accredited trade programs and GED training.

Teen Assessment and Evaluation Program:
The Teen Assessment and Evaluation Program is a program designed to identify and evaluate teens that are below average in reading writing, reading comprehension and mathematics. Teens will be evaluated by providing with diagnostic test and measuring eating, sleeping and study habits. The candidates will receive study material, books, tutoring and practice exams. The teens will be monitored and encouraged until noticeable progress has been achieved.

Brightstar Youth Academy (BYA) has accredited, online and correspondence courses serving students in grades 5-12 . Our courses are designed independent study, providing students the ability to make up for credits at your schools Each unit of coursework is self- contained, enabling students complete credit recovery coursework at home or at school under the supervision of a teacher or mentor.

Occupational Bridge Program

Is a set of accelerated and intensive competency-based remedial reading, writing, math, and employment readiness courses - in occupational context - to prepare young adults with low skills to succeed in specific post- secondary occupational training and entry-level employment.
