He then enrolled in Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and earned induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, a distinction for only the top of the graduating medical school class. Dr. Leedy was then one of 3 of 250 highly qualified plastic surgery residency applicants to be accepted into the Integrated Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, regarded as one of the most prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the country. Dr. Leedy completed his training in 2005 and returned to northeast Ohio where he has established himself as one of the leading plastic surgeons in his region.
Dr. Leedy is an educator, having published articles in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal and having presented his research at national plastic surgery meetings. He is an innovator, always looking to improve plastic surgery and holds multiple patents for a breast implant sizing device that he designed, that allows patients to “test drive” their look before undergoing breast augmentation.
