Cubix was founded in Venezuela in August 1990 as a business dedicated to distribute computer's supplies and accessories. At that time, there wasn't a clear definition of the distribution channel. So the company decided to import several products from Venezuela and use a variety of sale's methods, including bulk and retail sales. The slogan was quite simple: sale and pay on time.



After a few years Cubix started to distribute hardware's generic products, but in the mid 90's the focus of the company changed. Cubix began to exclusively distribute products of the most recognized brands in the computer segment, looking to establish long term relationships with the partners.



In 2003 Cubix started to expand their operations. The company began by exporting their knowledge and expertise. They opened a Latin American Office in Miami, FL to guide and manage their new operations in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Colombia. The growth was supported by the quality and talent of their personnel. At the present time many of the principal executives start their professional career inside the company and the gradually build to establish and excellent environment of trust, knowledge and quality. At the moment Cubix has more than 280 employees distributed over six countries of Central America, South American and the Caribbean.



Using this strategy, Cubix offers an efficient service to the distribution channels in each country, offering products of several computer related brands at competitive prices. There are some differences in each country and brand regardless of the partners. We were still able to distribute the most prestigious computer related brands, some of which are: 3COM, Acer, APC, AOC, Apple, Benq, CA, Cisco, Dell, D-link, Epson, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Imation, Kingston, Lenovo, Lexmark, LG, Linksys, Microsoft, Palm, PNY, Samsung, SanDisk, Siemon, Simpletech, Sony, Targus, Toshiba and Tripp-lite.



Cubix is one of the fastest growing computer distributors in the Latin American region. Cubix has a very well defined strategy for regional expansion, which preserves their local attention and service in each country. Cubix nace en Venezuela en Agosto de 1990 como una empresa distribuidora de suministros y accesorios de computación, en esa época no existía una clara definición del canal de distribución. En sus inicios se importaban productos, se vendían al mayor, al detal, por prensa y demás medios posibles; la consigna era vender y pagar a tiempo.



Con el paso de los años se comenzaron a comercializar partes y accesorios de hardware (productos genéricos) y a mediados de los 90 se tomó la decisión de enfocarse exclusivamente en productos de fabricantes reconocidos con quienes se pudieran establecer relaciones a mediano y largo plazo.



En el año 2003 se inició la internacionalización de la empresa, con la apertura de las operaciones en Estados Unidos, Costa Rica, República Dominicana, Guatemala y Colombia. Su crecimiento se logró debido a la excelente calidad y talento de su personal, generando un gran capital humano, muchos de nuestros principales ejecutivos empezaron su carrera profesional en la empresa y se han ido desarrollando internamente, creando un clima de conocimiento, confianza y calidad. Actualmente Cubix cuenta con más de 280 empleados distribuidos en sus oficinas en seis países de Centroamérica, Suramérica y el Caribe.
