Less than twenty years after Lee surrendered to Grant, two years before Coca-Cola became known worldwide, and four years before Marion, Indiana was incorporated as a city, the Curran Roofing Company began their operations in a downtown building on the east side of Washing Street. Curran Roofing Company is the oldest, continuously operated business in Grant County and one of the oldest continuously family owned and operated business. Curran Roofing Company, Inc. Has served Indiana customers statewide since 1884:

Forest V. Curran, founder of the Curran Roofing Company in 1884.

Forest’s son, Glen Curran, conducted business during the Great Depression by trading livestock, land, and miscellaneous household goods.

Robert F. Curran, a WWII veteran, took over the stead after his father’s untimely death.

After serving in Vietnam, G. Todd Curran continued his family’s roofing legacy.

Today, Todd, his wife Linda, lead their highly-skilled team of technicians, customer care specialist and consultants into the 21st century using a combination of time-tested techniques, high-tech applications, and the best workforce in the state of Indiana. Old fashioned customer service has kept Curran Roofing in business for 125 years and as they continuously strive to keep their workforce trained in the best roofing practices, they are looking forward to “making you smile” for the next 125 years.
