Delta Sigma Company (DSC) is an Engineer-To-Order (ETO) company. DSC designs, build, tests, installs, and integrates highly automated systems used for a wide variety of manufacturing applications, predominantly aircraft production. In 2012, DSC was awarded the Manufacturing Technology Achievement Award, which is awarded once annually by the Department of Defense for the technology that brings the greatest value to DoD manufacturing capability. DSC is the inventor and patent holder of 3D Optical Projection for use in manufacturing applications. These systems are sold under the trade name ProjectionWorks and there are several application specific versions of these systems âÃ�??Ã�?? AssemblyWorks, PaintWorks, and HarnessWorks. A patent for automated fastener grip measurements is included in this family of products. DSC also has special expertise in RCS measurements, especially targets and target handling systems.


DELTA SIGMA CORPORATION started working on Optical Projections in 2005. By 2009, the first member of the ProjectionWorks family - AssemblyWorks - was fully operational and ready for action. Experiments on the F-22, F-35, and C-130 production lines all confirmed our belief that this technology could have a major impact on large-scale manufacturing in industrialized countries. Providing a technician with an AssemblyWorks System (rather than a stack of drawings and manuals) increases productivity in a similar way that providing a worker with a bulldozer (rather than a shovel) increases productivity. One big difference is that AssemblyWorks is a lot easier to operate than a bulldozer.
