Your dentist has referred you to our office for an evaluation and, if needed, treatment by a root canal specialist. Your dentist has shown confidence in our office and may have even referred themselves, members of their own family and office staff members just as they have referred you or your family. Building lasting relationships with our patients and our referring doctors based on trust and integrity is a key to our success.

Our evaluation starts with the referral notes from your own dentist. We review the specified dental needs, the specific symptoms that you have had and review your overall health status. We will use any indicated additional x-ray techniques and do testing to find or verify a diagnosis. Not every dental problem requires endodontic treatment. We will attempt to make an accurate diagnosis, recommend the type of endodontic treatment that can address the problem, and present any reasonable alternatives or options so that you can make an informed decision before starting any treatment.
