      • These two prong outlets are out dated and should be replaced by a licensed contractor. They can cause an appliance to overheat as there is no ground.
      • This is the view of the sub floor from the crawlspace. The water damage is very evident and needs to be addressed.
      • These stairs require a handrail from the ground to the landing area. They are also in need of scraping and painting to seal and protect the wood.
      • These wires in the back of an apartment are live. Meaning they have power going to them and anyone touching them will receive a shock.
      • This is a vent pipe from a gas water heater that is supposed to vent through the roof. It has been disconnected and is therefore filling the attic with Carbon Monoxide (CO) which is a colorless and od
      • This water heater is not strapped to the wall. This is a code violation and needs to be addressed. The strapping is required in case of an earthquake to keep the unit in place and it's gas line from r
      • Any electrical connections in the attic need to be contained inside a box not on the outside as you see here. This is a fire hazard. Clean gutters are the best way to help your home shed water. Check your gutters after a rain storm or a big wind storm. Trim all vegetation near the home this can be a pathway for wood destroying pests and vermin. This can also damage the roof and the gutters. Wood requires protection from the elements. This is an obvious repair that should be painted to protect the wood from rot. Vent screens protect your home from vermin and pests entering your homes walls then causing damage and/or an unhealthy environment for your family. This is common but can allow water intrusion through the bolts. Be sure that your installer uses a roofing mastic to seal up the bolt holes. This rag prevents water from draining into the gutter below as well as keeping moisture under the roofing tile which can result in damage and costly repair. Roofing debris like this needs to be addressed it can hold moisture on your roof which can lead to damage if not removed. This is an obvious drain line leak 5 ft from the crawlspace opening a bathroom is located directly over this area. This is a loose counter top in a garage it is a pinch point and can cause serious injury to a curious child in the garage with their parent. This was a noted roof item from a recent inspection. The tiles are being held up by the gutter only and could fall a seriously injure someone.
