Established in 1968, Empire is the premier locally and minority owned passenger transportation company in Southern California. While we are fiercely proud of the cultural aspect of our accomplishments, we realize that our success flows completely from our ability to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our customers. Simply put, the satisfaction of our clients is what got us here and we have no intention of losing that edge.

We were originally formed as a commercial parking management company, operating under the name of Empire Auto Parks. In striving to accommodate its growing number of clients, Empire began to extend passenger transportation services as a form of customer service fulfillment. Today, transportation is our principal business and Empire serves a diverse customer base that includes large corporations, community colleges and universities, hospitals and health service organizations, municipalities and local government entities, utilities, and entertainment centers such as stadiums and amusement parks.

At the very heart of our ability to efficiently serve our customers was an early commitment to the two key building blocks of a responsible transportation company: effective training for our drivers and a comprehensive maintenance program for our vehicles. Not only do our programs compare favorably to companies of our size and background but also to any transportation company of any size, anywhere.

At the top of this solid foundation, Miguel Oliver and Bertha Aguirre, as co-owners and senior executives, have built a company with the strongest record for customer service in Southern California. Their service commitment flows from the top right down to the driver of every bus in every operation. We believe that this unity of commitment from the top of the organization to the bottom is what makes us special and what allows us to attract and retain the most loyal customer base in the industry.
