Francis W. (Bill) Brown Sr served in the Seabees in the Pacific in WWII. After discharge he worked for his uncle Pat for a time and then started his own company in the late 40's called The F. W. Brown, Co. He was prominent in the residential and commercial areas. In the early 60's Bill Jr came into the business and later his siblings Paula, Richard and Robert. The name F W Brown became well known throughout the region as well as its founder Bill Brown Sr. In the early 90's Bill Jr founded F. William Brown, LLC. Since the original F. W. Brown Company was inactive and Bill Brown was semi- retired, the new company became known affectionately in honor of Senior as F. W. Brown. Since it's founding a third generation of Brown's by the names of Kristen, Melissa and Bill III have continued the Brown Family tradition of personal service, quality construction and competitive pricing. Bill Sr taught his family the importance of family, honor, generosity and humility. These lessons are what separates F. W. Brown from all the others.
