Contacts Anna Miller The Federal Way Symphony is a paid, professional orchestra and choral society under the direction of Maestro A. Brian Davenport, its Music Director for more than 30 years. Each year, the Federal Way Symphony presents a season concert series, featuring music from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Modern periods, as well as special concerts and events: jazz, popular, choral, holiday and educational programs.
The Symphony's educational programs include "Symphony in the Schools", an annual youth summer music camp for which scholarships are available and a tiny tots concert series. The Federal Way Symphony is the only symphony in the area that offers free regular season concert admission to students ages 18 and under.
The Federal Way Symphony is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, governed by a board of directors, and committed to bringing world-class performers and music to the local community. The Symphony's funding sources include grants, donations, special events and concert ticket sales.
