Gana-A’Yoo, Limited was formed in 1978 after the shareholders of four Yukon River ANCSA village corporations voted to merge. The villages include Galena, Koyukuk, Nulato and Kaltag. The corporation is owned by more than 1100 shareholders of primarily Koyukon Athabascan descent. With a mission ‘to strengthen the pride of our people’ the board of directors chose Anchorage, AK as the location for their corporate office.
