About Cedric Higgins

Before heading the Globe Life Liberty National Division Agency Office in Columbus, Mississippi, Cedric Higgins owned a small grocery store about three hours east in Greenville.

Unknown to anyone but he and his wife, Cedric was planning to permanently close his store and begin the hunt for a new career. “When I got home that evening,” Cedric recalls, “my wife was trying to sell me on a Globe Life Liberty National Division career that, evidently, George had told her about.”

It worked! The Columbus Agency members are active supporters of the Salvation Army of Washington County, as well as the Relay for Life in Lamar County, Alabama. And when Cedric isn’t volunteering or working hard at the office, he’s likely spending time with his family, playing golf, or fishing.

His only regret with Globe Life Liberty National Division is that he didn’t start sooner. But each and every day, Cedric Higgins is making up for lost time by helping others find their way to a Globe Life Liberty National Division career as early as possible.
