After receiving a biomedical engineering degree in 1989, Steve spent seven years in the field installing and servicing all types of medical equipment for various hospitals and clinics throughout the Midwest.

He then moved to medical equipment sales where this background helped him communicate effectively with clients and exceed their expectations. He served in this capacity for seventeen years prior to founding Gopher Medical.
