Harms Software Inc. was founded in 1987 to provide the beauty industry with advanced, powerful business solutions and tools. It began more than 20 years ago when John Harms began building a company based on cutting-edge technology, innovative products, outstanding support, and more importantly a strong passion to make a difference in the salon and spa industry. The company worked on their first initiative branded Salon Solutions(TM) in a time where computers seemed unnecessary in the salon and spa industry - even back then they were ahead of the trend. Salon Solutions was built on a vision to not only help salon and spas better manage their staff, clients, and inventory but to ultimately help business owners make the right decisions and grow their business.

As the industry shifted and responded to new technology, Harms Software flourished. Yet still - a few years, 10 additional employees, a new building, and hundreds of clients later - John Harms felt as though he wanted more for his clients. He said "The software was the tool to growth and success but what about education, networking, and partnership? Our vision is to be more than just a software company." Soon after this turning point, Harms Software invested a significant amount of money and dedicated months of sleepless hours to completely re-write Salon Solutions. The new version was branded Millennium(TM), a faster and more robust system.

Today Harms Software's flagship product Millennium is utilized in thousands of salons and spas in over 30 countries and handles over $1 Billion in annual revenue. Now operating in the U.S., New Zealand, Canada and the United Kingdom, the Harms network of clients has grown 10,000% in the last 10 years alone.

The U.S. headquarters in Boonton, New Jersey is the fourth office space to accommodate growing demand, staff, and a build-out of new departments. The space is equipped with a full-blown training center, a team of 20+ Technical Support Experts, over a dozen Business Solutions Experts, a Software/Research Development Team, Media Room and Education Department.

The UK and Europe headquarters in Plymouth, United Kingdom is entering its 5th year at the same location and is equipped with a training center, a team of Technical Support Experts, Business Solutions Experts and an Education Department.
