I AM Recycling, Inc., is a nonprofit corporation formed to end recidivism by building relationships with, and providing support to, incarcerated men and women, and their families.

We offer

Transitional housing
Support groups
Job training and development to those returning to society as well as young adults working to complete high school.

We also offer a year round program to provide children with opportunities that expose them to new and exciting experiences, while providing them with a vision for a successful path into adulthood. Activities include academic support, physical recreation and sports' instruction, and character education.

Children from income-eligible families receive full scholarships to attend the summer camps offered by I AM Recycling. Community partners include businesses, other non-profits, churches, and individuals.

I AM Recycling is located in Durham, NC, with satellite programs in Montclair, NJ, and Indianapolis, IN. It is governed by a Board of Directors based on by-laws established at start-up.
