Randy Staley and Cole Staley, owners and instructors have over 35 years of combined experience in the Ed Parker system of Kenpo Karate. “We believe Kenpo to be the most aggressive and comprehensive style of martial art to defend yourself on the street against single and multiple attackers and, it can be learned by people of all ages.”

Dedicated to enhancing our students
Learning a martial art can be the memorizing of moves, but at Kenpo Karate Academy we focus on teaching our students much more. It can be learned by people of all ages because it is not based on strength or flexibility but on the laws of physics. We teach you to adapt and manipulate the movement of your opponent to obtain maximum speed, power and targeting while exerting a minimal amount of energy. When you practice a strike, a block, or a kick, you are creating muscle memory. The goal is to have your movement become a reflex instead of a reaction. Kenpo’s emphasis on speed of action and accuracy over pure power, combined with its use of vital targets make it easy to be learned by any man, woman or child of all sizes and ages. Kenpo builds self-confidence, eye hand coordination, flexibility, agility and is a great form of exercise for both young and old.
