Kiefer Jewelers was started by Al & Margaret Kiefer in 1957, with the original location in downtown Dade City. David and Wendy Hevia acquired Kiefer Jewelers in 1997 and decided to keep the name as part of the historical importance to the area. In 2004, Kiefer Jewelers opened it's second location in Lutz, FL in the Collier Parkway shopping center, to later be replaced by a free standing state-of-the-art jewelry store and repair facility in 2006. Kiefer Jewelers became an Authorized Rolex Dealer in 2008. In 2014, Kiefer Jewelers acquired Spun Gold Jewelers in Brandon, FL to open the third location.
