Matreya LLC is committed to the development and manufacture of lipids and biochemicals of the highest quality and value to our customers. Our experience in chemical synthesis and the extraction and purification of natural products allows us to achieve 98% or 99% purity, the best attainable using state-of-the-art techniques.

We serve researchers and producers in biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, microbiology, food and agriculture. Our product line includes a broad range of lipids, tocopherols, including an extensive line of fatty acids and esters; including many unusual ones available alone or in mixes. Our specialty is high purity sphingolipids, glycolipids, ceramides, conjugated linoleic acids, phosphatidyl inositols and inositol phosphates. Within the area of sphingolipids and glycolipids, we have earned a reputation as the preferred problem solver and technology leader.

New Products

In order to insure a viable pipeline of new products, we strive to maintain and develop close working relationships with leading academics. We continually solicit their advice in specialty areas, particularly with regard to expanding our product line. As custom preparations often lead to important new products, we make every effort to accommodate the needs of our customers by being committed to offering a wide range of custom products. We generally quote 80% of the requests we receive for custom synthesis, guaranteeing delivery in 4 to 8 weeks depending on complexity and difficulty of the synthesis.
