Since 1949, Midwest Special Services has been providing individualized programs and supports to adults with intellectual and physical disabilities to help them reach their personal goals and achieve their full potential. We are committed to identifying the barriers that our participants face, and then building customized plans to help them overcome those barriers.

Our geographic reach covers the entire seven-county metro area with six facilities, each designed to support our clients, their caregivers and families.

We believe in empowering the people we serve by giving them opportunity--to be productive on work teams and in the business world; through creating and selling artwork; and as volunteers in the community. Through our Vocational and Day Training and Habilitation (DT&H) services we offer a range of program components designed to meet not only employment aspirations but educational, social and recreational needs as well. We offer specialized services for seniors with disabilities, innovative programming options for adults with autism spectrum disorder, and the award-winning Creative Arts program.

Our main office in St. Paul is also home to an efficient, cost-effective, reliable production services operation, with 25,000 square feet of on-site fulfillment space, dock access, a ready cohort of enthusiastic workers, and a seasoned staff who can customize process plans for our business customers.
