Modern has existed since 1968. We were originally a telephone order supply house. Gary Jerow purchased the company in 1990 with grand plans for the company to become more than it was. Through the years we have become a lot of what Gary had envisioned. We are a full-service supplier offering not only supplies, but also equipment, equipment training, service, installation, manufacturing, marketing aids, professional sales training, and turn-key engineering solutions.

Modern has grown over the years through acquisitions, hard work by great people, and through great planning with our customers and vendors to assist in their growth. Our goal is to improve in the future by uncovering the critical concerns within the ice industry and offering custom solutions for each of our customers.
