About Us Phase 2 Industries, LLC began in 2007 in the Silicon Valley, California. The driving purpose of the company has been to deliver world-class technology and solutions to our clients. We specialize in building technologies that both excite and delight the customer while delivering the right solution for the needs of our clients. We become an integrated part of the clients’ team during the development process, allowing for fast take-up of the product essentials and complete idea sync and accountability on the road to final delivery.

Our core team draws from a deep and extensive pool working at companies such as Intel, AMD, Sony, NVIDIA, Roxio and Creative Labs. With a combined 30-plus years of work expertise our senior staff has the know-how to visualize, scope, create, manage, build, test and deliver the products the client needs on schedule and on budget, every time.







Steve Schalkhauser, CEO and Founder
Steve S. is responsible for Phase 2 Industries overall direction. With over 17 years of software development and management experience, Steve brings a unique knowledge of the emerging technologies and classic software architecture implementation and design while staying focused on results. His passion is finding unique ways to solve problems whether it be a business, managerial or technical challenge and keeping clients delighted by exceeding their expectations. He brings a strong leadership quality to the Phase 2 Industries team.

Steve previously worked at companies such as Intel, Roxio and a handful of innovative startup companies before deciding to set out on his own to create a service oriented technology business. He splits his time between growing the Phase 2 Industries business and working directly on client projects.






Steve Ansell, CTO
Steve A is responsible for overseeing Phase 2′s technical direction. Steve joins us from Sony Network Entertainment Inc., where he was Director of Engineering responsible for integrating online services, digital content and consumer electronics. He brings with him broad industry experience spanning nearly 20 years of software development and technical management. Steve has worked on a diverse range of products including enterprise system software, online gaming and web services as well as desktop and mobile applications. Steve loves learning and applying new technology. He is an innovator with numerous patents to his name. However his true passion is in finding practical solutions utilizing best-fit tools and bringing production-ready software to market.

Before his time at Sony, Steve was part of the original engineering team at Liquid Audio helping to build the first commercial system for downloading digital music on the web. Prior to that, he worked at Catapult Entertainment, an early innovator in the online gaming space. Steve began his career on mainframe and UNIX workstations creating operating systems software and development tools.





Micah Stroud, Marketing and Planning
Micah is responsible for Phase 2 Industries marketing and planning services. As a senior product, planning and marketing professional, he has over 14 years of experience in the hardware and software technology industries. He is a focused, fervent advocate for consumer experiences and a recognized technology media spokesperson who has helped companies increase their product and brand visibility while ensuring the product lauch is a success.

Micah has previously held senior management and marketing roles at AMD, Sony, NVIDIA and Creative Labs. He brings a unique background to the company, having created a number of commercially and critically acclaimed consumer-focused products while also generating a number of patents.
