In 1963 the younger Pletz left the original company to form Pletz Construction Company. The emphasis of that company was residential construction. Seven years later Pletz Construction moved into the commercial and industrial arenas. This was the actual beginning of today's thriving Pletz Construction, Inc. or PCI which specializes in the construction of metal buildings throughout the South Central Texas area.



Over the years, PCI has acquired an impressive and extensive list of well-engineered, quality constructions. Numerous metal airplane hangars, automobile dealerships, educational and governmental buildings have been constructed by the keen craftsmanship of PCI.



The tutelage of L.R. Pletz to his son was time well spent. He encouraged his son to build with pride and with a sincere heart for quality and dedication to each client. Today M.B. Pletz is actively involved in each project. His continued hard work has allowed PCI to construct over $28, 000, 000 in projects ranging from office/service centers, industrial subdivisions, shopping centers and luxury condominiums.
