Contacts Peter Justus MD Puget Sound Gastroenterology (PSG) was created by the merger of three premier Puget Sound area gastroenterology practices (Seattle Gastroenterology Associates, Digestive Disease Center, Eastside Gastroenterology) into one multi-faceted organization with 24 board certified Gastroenterologists and four nurse practitioners.
Seattle Gastroenterology Associates (SGA) was founded in June, 1989 by Drs. Steven T. Lewis, Sheldon N. Rosen and Steven J. Wegley. It has since grown to seven board certified physicians with specialties in gastroenterology, internal medicine and hepatology and two ARNP's. SGA has office locations and Endoscopy centers in the Fremont and Northgate neighborhoods of Seattle. SGA physicians have been leaders in providing quality and compassionate gastrointestinal medical services to communities located throughout western Puget Sound. Now as part of Puget Sound Gastroenterology, they offer the same high quality services to the broader Puget Sound area.
On January 1, 1993, Drs. Robert G. Chaffee, Jason Schneier and Gary N. Dines, who had been practicing in Edmonds for several years, combined their individual practices to form the Digestive Disease Center at Kruger Clinic, now known as Puget Sound Gastroenterology at Edmonds (PSGE). In July of 1993, Timothy E. Little, M.D. joined the practice having been on the University of Washington Faculty and serving the Veterans Hospital. The Edmonds Endoscopy Center was completed in February of 1998. Dr. Jinfeng Jeff Guo became a physician with the group in July of 2000. Dr. Cara Debley joined the practice in July of 2006. ARNP's, Kelly Yukevich and Michelle Goodman, joined the practice in 2012. Presently, the practice has six physicians, two ARNP's and a staff of over 30 employees. Our physicians are on the Medical Staff of Swedish Hospital in Edmonds and have been serving the local area since 1979.
The Eastside Digestive Disease Clinic was founded in the mid-1980?s by Drs. Cufley and Justus. The practice adopted a new name, Eastside Gastroenterology, in the 1990?s and in 1995 opened the Evergreen Endoscopy Center. Over the years, the practice has grown to become the primary source of GI medical care in northeast King/southeast Snohomish counties. Our patients typically live in communities around the northeastern edge of Lake Washington, Kirkland, Bothell, Kenmore, Woodinville, Redmond, Carnation, Duvall, and other communities further north such as Monroe and Snohomish.
