Red's Satellite Service is owned and operated by Dwayne C. Freeman, commonly known as "Pops" and is a family ran business since 1982. They are an independent Oil Field Instrumentation Sales and Service facility. Red's is also a member of the Instrument Society of America. Their repair facilities are located at 1002 Oak Street in Abilene and Red's offices are located at 934 Oak Street, which is unique because for years it was the Abilene Jaycee's Haunted House building. A building which had murals of ghastly Halloween figures like Ghouls and Goblins with cemetery graves now has the Cowboy Ten Commandments in place of those murals. The most unique thing about Red's is their Christian values and the manner in which they conduct business. Jesus Christ is the head of their business and they model this in their daily activities from their logo to the prayer board, which hangs in their office. Pop always has the time to share what Jesus has done for him, his family and his business. He and his family are proud to be called followers of Jesus Christ. Drilling and well servicing contractors throughout West, Central, North Texas, South Texas, New Mexico and Arkansas, depend on Red's Satellite Service for their instrument and control needs. Known as " The Best Little Instrument Shop in Texas", Red's provides 24-hour sales and service for drilling instruments, satellite automatic drilling controls, weight indicators, recording instruments, and deviation survey tools. In addition to sales and service, Red's provides rental Satellite / Redi-drill automatic drillers, weight indicators, Deviation survey tools (EASTCO, TOTCO, Sure Shot, and SlingShot) and drilling recorders (TOTCO, Star, Geolograph, and air recorders). At Red's you will find over 100 years of combined oil field experience, fully equipped service vehicles, shop facilities, and experienced service personnel. Red's also has extensive parts for all products they represent. With complete equipment repair and installation on all products and the same day shipment on all parts and supplies ordered. Red's has combined "old school" and "new" technology to achieve the quality contractors have come to expect.
