The family business eventually relocated north to service the Volusia and Flagler County areas of Central Florida. In March of 2008, Rick and Rhonda D Alessio formed their own company now known as R and R Sod Farm, Inc.Our sod is sand grown locally on our farm in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Being sand grown develops a more mature root system and a natural environment for when the sod is reestablished.
