Rubicon provides a cloud-enabled and renewable-hardware root-of-trust to secure your digital assets with powerful zero-knowledge keys.
Zero-knowledge concepts are among the most powerful tools cryptographers have ever devised. They are a mathematical means to prove an assertion (a secret or key) without revealing any other information. Zero-knowledge concepts coupled with Rubicon's tiny hardware root-of-trust or vault form the building blocks that creates the foundation for trust in the system and enables the use of zero-knowledge keys. Rubicon uses these zero-knowledge keys to derive digital fingerprints from the entropy of Rubicon devices, turning random data into session keys that operate inside the same tiny but secure vault.
Rubicon harnesses the power of zero-knowledge keys with our cloud-based Distributed Device Service or DDS. DDS activates Rubicon-enabled devices, brokers communications between one or more devices, and provides policy-based key renewability and revocation services.
