In 1948 the Sephardic community envisioned an innovative retirement home where their elderly could live surrounded by friends, in a culturally familiar environment, provided with every care and comfort necessary to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.

Concerted fund-raising efforts helped the community realize their dream and in 1957 with fifty-eight residents, Sephardic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center became a reality. Since then we have been taking care of the Jewish disabled and elderly from both the Sephardic and Ashkenasic communities.

Our outstanding staff provides, nationally-recognized, nursing and medical care and exceptional rehabilitation therapies in our state of the art facility.

Since our founding we have continuously met the changing needs of our community. In 1974, 1983 and again in 2000, three major capital campaigns helped us expand our Home to a 271 bed, modern, full service, skilled nursing center. We are consistently at the forefront of elder care, embracing new methodologies and concepts.

Our planned expansion will allow us to combine our decades of excellence with the newest technologies in a beautiful setting.
