Serenity Hospice was created in 2003 from the dreams of a team of home-grown New Orleans hospice nurses. Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional day-to-day quality of life for patients with life-limiting illness.



Serenity Hospice is owned and operated by a veteran oncology field nurse. Our nurses and their care teams have operated together as home care specialists for over 10 years. With combined hospice nursing experience of more than 200 years, our Serenity team has earned great insight into the daily management of disease processes and the turmoil this may cause for a family. Our family works well together and with yours to create a peaceful symptom free environment for your loved one.



Having a local owner on site daily allows our field nurses to creatively and more effectively manage our patients' symptoms in partnership with our medical director and experienced compound pharmacists. With compassion and experience as our guide, our patients are able to more fully enjoy every day they are given.
