The Institute for Performance Improvement (TIfPI) is registered in the State of Illinois as a L3C. The L3C is a hybrid profit and non-profit structure created by the State to encourage entrepreneurs to work on social issues. TIfPI was established in 2012 by Judith Hale, Ph.D., CPT as CEO and Deb Page, CPT as President. Our social issues are school improvement as measured by increased and sustained gains in student achievement and workforce development as measured in career readiness through the use of evidence-based credentials. TIfPI does its work through two communities of practice (CoPs). The CoPs consist of Practice Leaders with expertise in school improvement, performance improvement, instructional technology, and credentialing.
TIfPI offers evidence-based certifications to: 1) school improvement specialists who demonstrate sustained gains in student achievement (Certified School Improvement Specialist, CSIS); 2) managers of certification programs who can demonstrate evidence their credential supports the intended goal (Certified Assessment and Credentialing Professional, CACP); and 3) developers of learning solutions such as instructor-led training, simulations, e-learning, synchronous and asynchronous curricula, serious games, job aids, and mobile learning, (Certified Instructional Developer, ID). It is developing evidence-based certifications for school district leaders and professional developers as well as for students and professionals in cyber security.
Other services include:
âÃ??¢ Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs ensuring they align with organizational goals, follow proven instructional guidelines, are relevant, use valid assessments, and result in improved workforce performance.
