Twin State, Inc., formerly Twin-State Engineering and Chemical Company is a privately held Iowa corporation, incorporated in 1958, with three major manufacturing facilities (Durant, Iowa; Hampton, Iowa; and Janesville, Wisconsin) with over 44 years of fluid fertilizer leadership. We manufacture and market a complete line of liquid fertilizers, including suspensions, all NPK and 10-34-0 starters and minor elements (sulfur, zinc, boron, etc.). In addition, Twin State markets 32% nitrogen solution and has 3 terminals and access to others on the river.

Our products are distributed through a network of 16 retail outlets and independent and cooperative dealers in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Liqui-Grow dealers offer their farm customers a complete program of fertilizer services, crop protection chemicals, crop production information, record keeping, and the commitment to serve each account with timely delivery of products and professional application when desired.

Additional services include soil testing and follow-up recommendations based on yield goals and management ability. With a full-time agronomist doing both research and consultations to maximize profits to each farm, the Agronology 10 and Site Specific programs give an economic and scientific approach to maximizing profits and protecting the environment.

Twin-State is the largest producer of liquid fertilizer in Iowa and has a commitment to reinvest retained earnings in the fluid industry for the years to come.
