WV IV PRO, a woman-owned business, manufactures the IV Pro Protector, a IV securement device that

can be used in all areas to include the military, the government and the private sector, creating a

great safety for the health care workers and their patients. Established, November 2004, WV IV Pro

offers three different types of securement available especially designed to protect the intravenous

(IV) site from needle dislodgement and prevents moisture build-up that can cause bacteria.



The I.V. PRO™ has been designed for patient safety and comfort. It allows the IV site to be

conveniently inspected without the removal of the protecting dome. All necessary periodic

inspections may be accomplished with a minimum amount of stress to the patient. In some cases the

patient can continue to sleep as these inspections are performed.



Through the clear dome of the I.V. PRO™, complications to the IV site can be easily observed and

immediate corrective action may then be taken. Problems are difficult or impossible to observe when

the IV site is covered by a dressing or other device that does not permit visual inspection of the

IV cathater/needle penetration site.



Proper use of the IV PRO™:grommet helps prevent the IV cathater/needle from becoming accidentally

dislodged. This reduces the possibility of an accidental needle stick and the subsequent transmittal

of infectious diseases to the health care professional.



In situations where the patient needs to be transported or with a patient in distress, the impact

resistant I.V. PRO™ dome will help prevent damage
