Small Businesses to Learn About Funding Options and Have One-on-One meetings with Lending Experts
Los Angeles, Calif. – (October 22, 2014) – Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp., the leading provider of credit building and credibility solutions for businesses, today announced that its last event of the 2014 Access to Capital: Money to Mainstreet tour will be held in New York City at the Lighthouse Chelsea Piers on Wednesday, November 12th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The one-day event will include a panel of lending experts that will discuss both traditional and alternative lending options and spotlight presentations on equity, crowdfunding and business credit. In addition, small business owners will have pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with a range of lenders, legal experts, business resources, and advisors.
According to Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. and Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management’s Third Quarter 2014 Private Capital Access Index Survey (PCA), 65% of New York and New Jersey small to medium-sized businesses believe that they will have difficulty raising both equity and debt financing within the next six months.
“Our economy is still on the mend and won’t be finally healed until our small businesses are able to access the funding they need to grow and thrive,” said Jeff Stibel, Chairman and CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. “We look forward to bringing our Access to Capital event to New York City and providing small businesses in the region with the education and access to funding options that they are lacking.”
Panels and presentations will feature local and national lending experts along with entrepreneurs who will share their funding stories.
